I acquired a porthole early on in my bar experimentation phase. At first, I spent a lot of time plowing through complicated examples of some amazing pothole concoctions. It is still an area where I want to experiment more. However, I realized it is an awesome tool to use for quick infusions.
Seeing as how we often start the day with coffee and end it with a cocktail, it seemed that I needed to add a coffee-centric cocktail to the menu early on.

Uno, Dos, Tres
I plan to keep a running list of our favorite drinks at Olmos Home. We like to experiment and there is always something new popping up. There are a few that we come back to time and time again. The “Uno, Dos, Trés” is one from the Death & Company cocktail book that was created by Joaquín Simó in 2009.
This cocktail is really where my journey took a turn from casual cocktail consumer into the world of cocktail enthusiast.
